Dankzij deze overwinning is ‘Mr. Pay Per View’ de nieuwe number one contender. Van Dam treft ‘The Essence of Excellence’ op zondag 15 september in de Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
CM Punk neemt het tijdens WWE Night of Champions op tegen Curtis Axel & Paul Heyman in een Handicap Elimination Match. Dat heeft Brad Maddox, de ‘General Manager’ van Raw, bekendgemaakt.
