John Cena verdedigt zijn WWE World Heavyweight Championship tijdens SummerSlam in Los Angeles, na WrestleMania de grootste WWE-show van het jaar, tegen Brock Lesnar. Dat heeft WWE bekendgemaakt.
Lesnar keerde maandag tijdens de live uitzending van Raw terug in de WWE. De laatste keer dat ‘The Beast’ in een WWE-ring stond was tijdens WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans. Lesnar maakte in de Mercedes-Benz Superdome een eind aan de legendarische ‘WrestleMania Winning Streak’ van The Undertaker.

SummerSlam vindt plaats in de nacht van zondag 17 augustus op maandag 18 augustus in het STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
