WWE heeft tijdens de tv-opnames van Smackdown de deelnemers aan de tweede Money in the Bank Ladder Match bekendgemaakt.
Wade Barrett, Antonio Cesaro, Dean Ambrose, Fandango, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow en Jack Swagger strijden om het Money in the Bank contract. De winnaar van deze match mag het contract op ieder moment ‘cashen’ en de World Heavyweight Champion uitdagen.
Het deelnemersveld bestaat, met uitzondering van Jack Swagger, uit Superstars zonder ‘World Championship’ ervaring. Swagger wist tijdens WrestleMania 26 (2010) de Money in the Bank Ladder Match te winnen. Twee dagen na zijn WrestleMania overwinning maakte ‘The Real American’ gebruik van zijn contract en versloeg hij de toenmalige World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho.
