WWE heeft bij Monday Night Raw drie nieuwe matches aan de line up van WWE Battleground toegevoegd.
De broers Cody & Dustin ‘Goldust’ Rhodes nemen het op tegen The Shield (Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins). Als Cody & Goldust de match winnen krijgen ze hun baan als WWE Superstar terug. Als ze verliezen wordt hun vader ‘The American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes ontslagen uit zijn functie bij WWE NXT, het opleidingstraject van WWE. Dusty staat tijdens Battleground in de hoek van zijn zoons.
WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee verdedigt haar titel tegen Brie Bella, de verloofde van Daniel Bryan. In de WWE Battleground Kickoff Match gaat de ‘ongekroonde World Heavyweight Champion’ Damien Sandow de strijd aan met tweevoudig Word Heavyweight Champion Dolph Zigger.

WWE Battleground vindt plaats op zondag 6 oktober in het First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York.
Trish Stratus is moeder geworden van Max
Trish Stratus is bevallen van een zoon. Dat maakte de WWE Hall of Famer bekend op haar website.
Het eerste kindje van Trish en haar echtgenoot Ron heeft de naam Maximus gekregen.
